Holiday Festival of Trains at the B&O - Baltimore Station
Holiday celebration of toy trains and model railroading layouts begining with the arrival of Santa by locomotive on November 28. The festival features many different layouts including the museum's "HO" model train layout in the C&O #725 passenger car and the outdoor "G" scale layout. Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks is opening Freestyle, a new teen drop-in center at Ridgely's Run Community Center, 8400 Mission Road, Jessup. The center, designed by teens, for teens, will offer a choice of hanging out with friends, playing basketball and video games, listening to music, having a snack at the Snack Shop and other activities. The center will be open from 6pm to 9:30pm August 7, August 21, September 11, September 25, October 16, October 30, November 13, and December 4th. The cost $5. Registration is not required.
