Howard County?s largest land trust was founded by a group of residents in 1990 to help preserve the natural environment, farmland and historic sites. Headquartered at a 232-acre nature reserve in Mount Pleasant, the conservancy offers year-round educational programs for adults and children, hosts events, provides volunteer opportunities and gives Howard residents information about land conservation.
